ATEC has an established telework program and many of our positions have the option to regularly work from home 2 days a week.  During the COVID-19 pandemic, many jobs are being done remotely in order to keep our employees safe.  ATEC will provide the equipment needed to safely work from home, including a laptop and VPN capability. Telework allows greater work-life integration, reduces transportation costs and vehicle wear and tear, helps the environment, and saves time otherwise spent commuting.  Plus, you get to work in sweatpants.

At ATEC, Our Mission and Our People are equally important. That’s why we designate our core work hours to allow for flexible start and stop times to create a schedule that meets your needs. Whether you need your evenings free, hate early mornings, or would rather work fewer than 5 days a week, ATEC has flexibilities to support your work life without sacrificing your home life. 

 

3-DAY WEEKENDS 

Do you like 3-day weekends? So Do We.  

Many ATEC positions are eligible for alternative work schedules, which allow you to add one hour to your work day in exchange for an extra day off every two weeks.  That’s 13 additional days off a year! 

Combined with our first year leave package, a new employee can have up to 36 days off a year.  That’s more vacation days than 97% of all first-year workers will receive at a for-profit company!

EXCUSED TIME OFF

Get Back When You Give Back 

ATEC supports its employees in their social and civic responsibilities. Every ATEC employee can receive additional paid time off for: 

Jury Duty – employees receive full paid time off for any time spent away from work in order to serve as a juror in judicial proceedings 

Blood Donation—employees receive up to a half day off for every successful blood donation 

Bone Marrow Donation—employees receive up to 7 days of additional leave each year for bone marrow donation 

Organ Donation—employees receive up to 30 days of additional leave each year for organ donation 

Military Service—employees receive 15 days of paid military leave each calendar year to attend National Guard or Reserve training; 22 days if they are ordered to active duty.  ATEC will also pay a differential to make up the difference in an employee’s basic pay and military pay and allowances when they are ordered to service  

  

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 

You Are Not Alone 

All ATEC employees have access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Licensed or credentialed professional counselors provide no-cost, short-term counseling to employees and family members. It is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and employees receive paid time off to attend sessions.
